Project 04 — Fall 2020

Passive House
Detroit, Michigan
Greenhouse Enclosure

Materials + Humidity
A house within a house, offering garage, greenhouse, and visitor space. Minimal material creates a net-zero and highly enclosed small house, with a permeable light enclosure creating the larger, outside house. Minimal footed raised foundations and permeable green pavers allows water to move through and around the building, reducing storm-water runoff. Cork blocks help regulate humidity.
